I'm totally having this same issue and out of desperation I googled 'ableton serato bridge no audio problem', which led me to this thread. Just to debunk the <4GB of ram explanation, I actually have 4G in my macbook. Like another poster said, it seems to work for me too when it wants. I'm very worried about using the bridge in a live setting for this reason. I played a halloween show with no problems, but am worried about relying on the same setup for NYE because of my recent problems in the lab. The most important feature of the Bridge for me is the ability to bypass using an AI and just use whatever Serato box is already plugged in when playing a show. But now this functionality is in question: very discouraging. I bet there are probably many people having this same problem. As an IT professional by day, I have gone through several logical tests and have concluded that there is no algorithm to make this work -- truly a 'works when it wants' scenario. It should be considered Beta for now I guess until this is either fixed or a stable workaround is defined.
